There are at least six types of hepatitis, A-G, each caused by a different virus. Hepatitis A (HAV) and B (HBV) are most likely to cause symptoms, while HBV and hepatitis C (HCV) can have the greatest chance of longer term health problems. The following webpage has been developed to provide information and resources for the three most common forms of hepatitis, A, B and C. Specific information is included to support residents of the New Hampshire and Vermont who are infected/affected by hepatitis, including consumers and providers, as well as those community members who wish to know more.
